Which shredder?
The 250MS is the tracked shredder for volume reduction and recycling: it tears mixed loads down to a size a crusher, a screen or a truck can take. The 950MS-E is the two-shaft machine for scrap, tires and the hardest waste. Here's the difference in numbers.

Rated production depends on the material. On the 250MS: construction debris and asphalt 120–150 t/h, reinforced concrete 100–120, wood waste 60–100, mixed waste and plastics 20–40, scrap metal 10–20.

The idea behind the machine
Built like equipment used to be.
Heavy equipment keeps getting more complicated. More sensors, more controllers, more proprietary software between the operator and the machine — and more ways for a machine to stop that nobody on your site can diagnose.
UPSEN takes a different approach. The USA-250MS is designed around conventional diesel-hydraulic systems and components a qualified heavy-equipment technician will recognize: a Cummins diesel, a hydraulic drive with a Linde pump, a slow-speed shredding rotor, a belt, a magnet, steel tracks. Technology stays where it makes the machine better to run — the hydraulic drive that lets one operator run it, for one. It doesn't get added because it can be.
Some manufacturers go the other way and build more integration into their machines. That's a legitimate choice. So is this one. Which philosophy fits you comes down to one question: who's going to work on it?

One machine for mixed loads
Construction debris, reinforced concrete, wood, bulky waste, mixed waste — the same machine, rated by material from 20 to 150 tph. Feed it what the site produces.
Slow-speed, high-torque
The rotor grabs and tears instead of hammering. Rebar, tramp steel and the odd contaminant that would stop a high-speed machine go through — with less dust, less noise and less wear.
Diesel-hydraulic, Linde drive
A Cummins QSF5.9 diesel and a hydraulic drive on a Linde pump. Conventional systems a technician can trace with a schematic and a gauge, not a laptop and a login.
Magnet and a long belt, standard
A B650 belt magnet pulls steel from the output. A 29'6" discharge conveyor stacks to 9'2", so the pile builds instead of the loader running.
Moves on one truck
In transport it's 25'9" long and 7'3" wide. A lowboy, no width permit, and steel tracks to walk it off and into position.
