Which shredder?
The 950MS-E is the heavy machine: two counter-rotating shafts, Hardox discs and the torque to pull a car body through. The 250MS is the lighter slow-speed shredder for C&D, wood and bulky waste. Here's the difference in numbers.

The idea behind the machine
Built like equipment used to be.
Heavy equipment keeps getting more complicated. More sensors, more controllers, more proprietary software between the operator and the machine — and more ways for a machine to stop that nobody on your site can diagnose.
UPSEN takes a different approach. The USA-950MS-E is designed around conventional diesel-hydraulic systems and components a qualified heavy-equipment technician will recognize: a Cummins diesel, a Linde hydraulic drive, two shredding shafts in a planetary reducer, a belt, a magnet, steel tracks. Technology stays where it makes the machine better to run — the hydraulic drive that lets one operator run it, for one. It doesn't get added because it can be.
Some manufacturers go the other way and build more integration into their machines. That's a legitimate choice. So is this one. Which philosophy fits you comes down to one question: who's going to work on it?

Torque for the hard stuff
177,000 lb·ft (240,000 N·m) through two counter-rotating shafts with 27.6" (700 mm) Hardox 500 knife discs. Car bodies, tires, white goods, structural scrap — the material goes through because the machine doesn't let it win.
A hopper that takes a grapple load
A 9.2 yd³ (7 m³) hopper behind a 16'9" × 7'7" hydraulic-lift inlet. A grapple or a loader drops a whole load and the shafts meter it — no cutting down first.
Diesel-hydraulic, Linde drive
A Cummins QSB8.9 diesel at 394 HP (294 kW) and a Linde hydraulic system — pump, motor, drive. Conventional systems a technician can trace with a schematic and a gauge, not a laptop and a login.
Tall discharge, magnet standard
A 31'2" conveyor discharges at 12'6" — into a pile, a trailer or a hopper. A B650 belt magnet recovers ferrous from the output.
Tracked, and it travels
Steel tracks move it around the yard under its own power. Between sites it's 31'2" long and 9'2" wide on a lowboy — a width permit, and worth it.
