The idea behind the machine
Built like equipment used to be.
Heavy equipment keeps getting more complicated. More sensors, more controllers, more proprietary software between the operator and the machine — and more ways for a machine to stop that nobody on your site can diagnose.
UPSEN takes a different approach. The USA-425JC is designed around a Vanguard gas engine with clutch engagement and a hydraulic system and components a qualified heavy-equipment technician will recognize: a Vanguard gas engine, clutch engagement, a hydraulic system, a jaw, a belt and rubber tracks. Technology stays where it makes the machine better to run — rubber tracks that move it without a trailer winch, for one. It doesn't get added because it can be.
Some manufacturers go the other way and build more integration into their machines. That's a legitimate choice. So is this one. Which philosophy fits you comes down to one question: who's going to work on it?

Fits through the gate
2'6" (760 mm) wide — and 5'11" long in transport. It tracks through a standard side-yard gate and works in the backyard the debris is already in.
Entry-level price, real jaw
A 15.7" × 9.8" (400 × 250 mm) jaw with manganese-steel plates, the same wear metallurgy as the big machines. A few residential jobs' dump fees and hauling pay for it.
Vanguard gas power and hydraulics
A 14 HP Vanguard gas engine with clutch engagement. The machine also has a hydraulic system, so engine, clutch and hydraulic maintenance are all part of routine service.
One person moves it
2,866 lb on rubber tracks. It rides a landscape trailer behind a half-ton pickup, tracks itself on and off, and doesn't mark a finished driveway.
Practical serviceability
Manganese-steel jaw plates. Common wear parts, stocked in the U.S. A full English operator's manual written to be used, not filed.
